Tricia Padoa is a dedicated and passionate psychologist who enjoys working with people who are experiencing a range of mental health concerns. Tricia particularly enjoys working with parents who would like tips or support to help their children. She has an interest in perinatal psychology and she has published research examining the impact of social media on new mothers.
Tricia works part-time with the Community Child & Youth Mental Health Team at Hornsby Hospital and has previously worked with adults, young children and adolescents in at the UTS University Clinic, and community treatment programs including the Early Psychosis team in Bondi and the Eastern Suburbs Child and Adolescent service in Randwick.
Tricia works from a variety of therapeutic approaches including cognitive-behaviour therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), and mindfulness.
Tricia holds memberships with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
