About

Dr Carryn Masluk is the founding Principal of TalkSpace Psychology and has over 15 years of experience. She enjoys working with adults and she understands the stressors, the juggles (and the joys!) that come with competing family and work commitments. Carryn has a particular interest in working with new and would-be parents (both mums and dads), and working with women who are raising a family or managing a career and struggling with burnout, brain fog, guilt, anxiety, and loss of a self.

Carryn also enjoys working with people presenting with anxiety (Generalised Anxiety Disorder, and Panic), depression, perfectionism, life transitions, grief and loss, and work-related stress and burnout.

Before opening her own practice, Carryn worked at the Prince of Wales Hospital and privately at the Black Dog Institute in Randwick. Carryn is also an experienced speaker and conducts teaching and training workshops for universities, hospital staff, and allied health professionals on mood and personality disorders. She holds a Conjoint Lecturer position at UNSW and an Honorary role at RPA Hospital for her work in the outpatient adult Congenital Heart Clinic. Carryn is available for clinical supervision.

When not working, Carryn is the mother of two school aged children and a dog.
